Chapter 4 page 14 is up. Still spending too long on coloring and not long enough coming up with half-decent backgrounds.. this lighting scheme still seems to be eluding me, so far…
I’ve been waiting for this character to show up, though. he’s fun to draw.

Updates may be spotty for the next few weeks, as Chris is traveling across the country right now, and I might be out of town for a bit myself.
However - keep checking back here for announcements about a hosting change that we’re working on. If all goes well you shouldn’t have to change your bookmarks or anything, but if the site disappears for a little while, check our onlinecomics.net page for news updates. At any rate, if I don’t have pages to post I’ll put up artwork and design stuff, so don’t go away…

Chapter 4 page 13 is up. sorry about that.. adjusting to a new color scheme was/is taking forever. I’m still not sure how well I like how the page turned out… might go back and adjust some things later. I’ve taken long enough to post it already, though, so it’s up for now.

I actually never made anything for color reference until now - I’m adjusting the colors from the greyed-out versions to something hopefully less dead-looking. though not being a fan of bright colors personally, I want to keep them pretty muted and not cartoony…

Next update will be next Tuesday. With an actual comic page, fates willing.

I’m sorry, but due to RL busyness and a little bit of a snag that still needs to be worked out on the next page, there will be no page next week. However, I will throw out a request for guest strips/art/conspiracy theories to post instead. Please send any entries to treias(at)shadesofveil.net by Monday, and I’ll post them on Tuesday. Else all you’ll get next week will be boring costume reference sheets.

In the meantime, vote for us on TWC for a preview of the next page. ;P
