The penciled version of page 19 is up… Sorry it’s unfinished, but due to some communication difficulties I couldn’t get the pencils okayed until now. But now that I’m good to ink and color I’ll change it to the good version once it’s finished. Consider it a bonus behind-the-scenes look until then? >.>

So, we’re back from Nekocon. Costume plans kind of crashed and burned at the last minute, but everything else went more or less smoothly (and Navi got to be our table mascot anyway). I took drawing commissions for the first time, which was more fun and less nerve-wracking than I expected it to be. And I got to talk to some other comic artists, like Kilika of Blue and Blond, Garth of Comedity (and his new comic, Finder’s Keepers), and Phil of Yosh!, who are all awesome and gave me lots of good advice. Go read their comics!

Here are some of the projects I was working on for the art table, by the way: minis for use on dungeon maps in D&D, which I mentioned before - I was taking commissions for custom-drawn ones of people’s characters. I also made some bookmarks, the pictures for which I’d like to use for a new site design. (and it’s jumping ahead a little, but yes, the symbols below the pictures mean something… one of them has been shown in the comic thus far, if you can find it…)

All in all it was a pretty good con. And if you’re one of the people who discovered us via the artists’ alley, then welcome, thanks, and I hope you enjoy the comic!
