Artreias is a traveler who finds himself stranded in an unfamiliar land with no memory of how he got there. He has a natural ability with magic, but finds he has trouble using it in this new place. He also speaks with an odd accent.

 

Nyang Lia

Distinguishing Characteristics: Dark brown skin, with short black hair spilling out from underneath a simple black cap.
Weapon of Choice: His words

Nyang was raised by his Uncle and had a fairly comfortable upbringing, but he also had itchy feet and left home as soon as he was able. He spent a few years traversing the countryside and subsisted on a little comedy routine on the side. Fun times were always to be had... well, right up until his real adventure began.

Tho'sel

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 118 lbs
Eyes: Green
Distinguishing Characteristics: Tho’sel stumbled into a kobold ambush when he was young and was lucky to escape alive. He refused magical healing so that he'd always have the scars to remind himself of his carelessness.
Weapon of choice: Elvencraft Composite Longbow, Longsword.

Tho’sel is from the Elven lands of Gilythaira, "Home of the Griffin People." As a child, he was very precocious and considered wise beyond his years, though also having more than his fair share of misfortune. Thus his childhood nickname of Garviaki, "Unlucky Owl." As he reached maturity, he chose for himself the name Tho'sel, "True Mountain."

Vladamir Saposnikov

Eyes: Grey
Distinguishing Characteristic: Vlad has long black hair, with white streaks that run down the sides framing his face. He wears a pair of snake-shaped earrings, a symbol of his deity Tiresias. He also speaks with a thick accent, indicative of his Northlands upbringing.
Weapon of choice: Spear

Vladamir is a Priest of the deity Tiresias. He grew up in the Northlands in an area known as Kamchatka. Vlad generally likes to look at life from a positive point of view believing that his fate is ultimately in the hands of a greater power.

Yuki Nyavel

Height: 5'7"

Eyes: brown
Weapon of choice: Crossbow, Longsword, Mandolin
Distinguishing Characteristic: Yuki has long straight hair with two sections bound in the front with an ornamental bead. His appearance is very feminine and he has been occasionally mistaken for a girl.

A mandolin strapped to his back and wandering the land, Yuki sought to make a new life for himself far from the druidic forest village Selvan'aith. Previously the mandolinist of the musical group "Lisse Nwalma" (sweet sadness), Yuki eventually decided to leave the village and his overbearing stepfather. Along with a strong passion for the arts, Yuki is drawn to things of beauty and tries to make himself appear as such.

Anaximander

Eyes: Silvery with Blue streaks
Distinguishing Characteristics: Impossibly tall and thin, Anaximander seems almost inhuman in his physical build. He is very pale-skinned, and has a voice so loud and booming it is as though he is constantly shouting.
Weapon of Choice: Warhammer

Anaximander is a paladin, a holy warrior whose power is embodied by their weapon. He has been sent to Valeria to find some missing items, and to protect a group of people who bear a certain mark. When the expedition through the mine began, he appeared at the last minute to save the party from a terrible creature. Much of his background is still hidden, but he appears to have a deep distrust of the Kin, and has been referred to as an 'Archon' by Artreias.

Oswyn

Height: 5'8"
Weight: 155 lbs

Distinguishing Characteristics: Love of history, strategy, and lengthy exposition.
Weapon of choice: Longsword.

Oswyn is the crown Prince of Valeria, and due to the prolonged illness of his father has effectively ruled the city for the past several months. He has a fascination with history and scholarly works, and a friendly nature that has been viewed as 'soft' towards the elven kingdom has earned him both compliment and criticism among the noble factions. He leads the vanguard directly, though, into battle which has earned him the trust and respect of his military officers, and his consistent raids on orc camps to free slaves has earned him the adoration of the general citizenry. Uncharacteristically perhaps, his hatred towards orcs has led him to adopt a ruthless strategy of 'search and destroy' raids in the remaining orcish lands. These hunts have earned him the nickname 'Oswyn the Hound' by the remaining tribes.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Bright yellow eyes, short horns on his forehead, and stark red hair.
Weapon of choice: ???

Keff is a mysterious member of 'The Kin', a race of demon-blooded humanoids. His objectives seem to be shrouded by the shadows in which he frequently hides.
