well, happy Tuesday. No page this week, as I said, so here are a few of the color reference sheets I’m working on:

I actually never made anything for color reference until now - I’m adjusting the colors from the greyed-out versions to something hopefully less dead-looking. though not being a fan of bright colors personally, I want to keep them pretty muted and not cartoony…

Next update will be next Tuesday. With an actual comic page, fates willing.

Chapter 4 page 12 is up. Lots of fun lighting to mess with there.

I’m sorry, but due to RL busyness and a little bit of a snag that still needs to be worked out on the next page, there will be no page next week. However, I will throw out a request for guest strips/art/conspiracy theories to post instead. Please send any entries to treias(at)shadesofveil.net by Monday, and I’ll post them on Tuesday. Else all you’ll get next week will be boring costume reference sheets.

In the meantime, vote for us on TWC for a preview of the next page. ;P
